SATURDAY WAS INTERESTING TO SAY THE LEAST, UP TO 9:00AM I WOULD OF BET YOU $100 THAT WE WOULD NOT GET ANY RACING IN BUT WE MANAGED TO GET A MICRO RACE IN 2 ROUNDS IS BETTER THAN NONE.
AND THE STORY I AM TELLING IS THERE MUST OF BEEN 150 CARS THERE AND I MADE IT TO SEMIFINALS.
I WILL LEAVE OUT THE PART WHERE THERE WAS ONLY 4 MANDRA CARS.
IT WAS A FUN DAY FRANK GIALLONARDO TOOK RAY BLOOM OUT, AND BOB ENGLISH PUT ED KELLY ON TRAILER.
BOB RAN A LITTLE TO FAST IN FINAL AND FRANK GOT WIN.
WE ARE GOING TO DO A NON-POINT RACE AT BEAVER ON JULY 4TH ITS GOING TO BE HOT BUT I NEED TO GET SOME SEAT TIME IN $60 ENTRY COME OUT IF YOU CAN .

The hi light of the day was watching JORDYN HANSBERRY make her first run down the track in jr street congratulations to all.

IT WAS GREAT WEATHER FOR RACING AT ISLAND MANDRA HAD 21 CARS.
TIME SHOTS:
RAY BLOOM HAD A RT OF 013 HOPING FOR A 1ST ROUND BYE TILL BILL WERT CAME BACK WITH A 012 GIVING BILL THE BYE GOOD JOB BILL.
ROUND 1 WINNERS: ROB WALTERS, BRYAN FEGLEY, LARRY WITTIG, RALPH FERRARO, SCOTT HASKO, MARK SANTEE, BILL WERT, GEOFF SOTAK, ANTHONY PICONE, RAY BLOOM, AND
PAUL CRISPYP.
ROUND 2: WE SEE ROB WALTERS, LARRY WITTIG, MARK SANTEE, GEOFF SOTAK, ANTHONY PICONE, AND PAUL CRISPYP MOVE ON.
ROUND 3: LARRY WITTIG, MARK SANTEE, AND PAUL CRIAPYP GO TO SEMIS.
ROUND 4: LARRY WITTIG OVER PAUL CRISPYP, MARK SANTEE WITH BYE.
IN THE FINAL: MARK DIALS A 10.35 RUNS A 10.41 WITH A RT OF .045 OVER LARRYS 9.70 DIAL AND RUNNING 9.78 WITH A 130 LIGHT.
MARK WITH 2 WINS AND LARRY WITH 2 RUNNER UPS THESE GUYS ARE LOOKING TOUGH.

MANDRA at south mountain.
A great day of racing to kick off are 2026 season.
A little cold and windy in the morning but by noon it was nice out.
MANDRA had 21 cars signed in after 2 rounds of time shots we still had 21 cars.
1st round in staging lanes MERRITT SNYDER had engine issues giving CHARLIE INNERST a bye run. BRYAN FEGLE , MARK SANTEE, ANTHONY PICONE, LARRY WITTIG, BRIAN YARRISON, MIKE VOLP , IRVIN JOHNSON, JOHN WISE, BILL WERT, and DAN WAGNER came away with win .
Round 2 we saw MARK , JOHN , LARRY, BRIAN and BILL with a bye run, move on.
Round 3 MARK, MIKE, and LARRY all 3 were hitting their dial ins.
Semi-finals LARRY WITTIG over MIKE VOLPE, MARK SANTEE HAD A BYE with a .0052 light .
FINALS MARK SANTEE dials a 6.55 runs a 6.571 with a RT of .0254, LARRY got a LB3A left before 3 amber i have done this before it hurts. Hats off to LARRY for making finals in a new car.

Consolation race GEOFF SOTAK, RAY BLOOM, TIM MILLIRON, and CALVIN HILL took wins. Round 2 GEOFF and TIM move on.
Final TIM dials a 6.63 goes 6.67 with a .039 light, GEOFF dials a 7.93 runs 7.96 with a RT of .074 TIM MILLIRON takes win .
